Job Title: Embedded C++ Developer
Job Location:  Irving, TX (Hybrid – Weekly twice need to go be Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months

Client is seeking a Developer for FiOS Video Development. This is a great opportunity to be part of a world-class software development team responsible for software engineering of video applications and bring video technology for Cable and IPTV to Client’s customers.

Responsibilities:
·         Responsibilities include architect, design, and implement and deploy the next generation FiOS Interactive Media Guide and other video applications on QAM or IPTV Set Top Boxes, Smart TVs, Game Consoles using C/C++
·         Bachelors or foreign equivalent in Engineering or Computer Science
·         5+ years of in-depth software development experience with set-top boxes (QAM/IP) or IPTV devices.
·          5+ years total experience in IT systems development
·         Experience on OTT, IPTV, MPEG2-TS, RTSP & RTP and MPEG standards will be a clear advantage.
·         Experience on video platforms, set top and consumer electronics device application development.
·         Good understanding and knowledge of video network elements, headends such as Arris DAC, configuration and Troubleshooting.
·         Good understanding of a software development life cycle
·         Ability to work well under pressure in a large and complex environment
·         Strong ability to rapidly narrow down software bugs in complex environments
·         Strong Communication skill and good team player.
