Job Description

We are seeking a Mid-level Data Analyst to provide application and data support for a newly developed internal system. The role focuses on maintaining data integrity, supporting operational reporting, and ensuring stable day-to-day application operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong SQL capabilities, experience with production data environments, and the ability to investigate and resolve data issues efficiently.

This position suits an analyst who prefers hands-on problem solving, structured reporting, and partnership with stakeholders to support critical business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Run, reconcile, and validate recurring and ad hoc application reports for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.


• Perform data tie-outs and variance analysis across upstream and downstream systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.


• Support onboarding of new clients, including data setup, validation checks, and initial reporting support.


• Investigate and resolve data validation errors, system exceptions, and data quality issues in production.


• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver reports and data outputs on schedule.


• Participate in testing and validation for enhancements, fixes, and new functionality.


• Identify opportunities to improve data controls, reporting reliability, and support processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field.


• 2-5 years in a data analyst, reporting, or application support role.


• Strong SQL experience, including writing queries to validate data, perform reconciliations, and troubleshoot issues.


• Clear communication skills to explain data issues and resolutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Alteryx.


• Background in financial services, asset management, fund administration, or related domains.


• Experience supporting internally developed applications or enterprise data platforms.


• Familiarity with data controls, validation frameworks, or audit support processes.
