Director of Sourcing - New York - Full time perm $225-250K plus 40% bonus
We are seeking a Sourcing Director who will be responsible for leading multiple teams of Sourcing professionals to execute enterprise sourcing strategies with highly complex line-of-business-specific negotiations to achieve enterprise-wide business objectives. Our Sourcing team works with and throughout the Enterprise to execute enterprise sourcing strategies, negotiate third party service provider (TPSP) contracts, mitigate TPSP contractual risks, reduce TPSP expenses, and provide TPSP market insight to ensure best in class sourcing practices.
This position will support our Technology Organization that supports and deploys technology solutions throughout the enterprise. The area of responsibility has spend categories and large line of business deals exceeding $5B in annual expenditures.
In this role, you will:
Maintain and foster the company’s focus to optimize TPSP expenses, minimize contract risks to the Bank, continue to improve the Bank’s diversity TPSP spend, and continue to offer best in class sourcing and procurement capabilities.
Develop a strong working relationship with various LOB customers, suppliers, and internal departments, and obtains a thorough functional knowledge of the organization, performance measures, and information flows to help optimize technology solutions within the Bank.
Collaborate with Group Executives within the company and Enterprise to align business priorities and establish strategic business objectives.
Be directly involved in technology and telecom contract negotiations/relationship management of high complexity, high risk contracts with significant (potential) business strategy impacts.
Act as a single point-of-contact for the Technology and Telecom Category relationship.
Work with Head of Strategic Sourcing to develop and manage Strategic Sourcing and enterprise procure-to-pay strategies and solutions to deliver and sustain substantial enterprise expense reductions, efficient procurement processes, and actionable data and reporting.
Develop annual cost savings programs and is account for developing and implementing business strategies that directly affect company financial results.
Lead acquisition-related activities including high risk contract and negotiation reassignments, due diligence, contracts dispositions, and strategic sourcing issue resolution with the primary focus on technology and telecom engagements.
Manage a team of category experts that has responsibility for enterprise-wide supplier initiatives and line of business specific negotiations in support of our enterprise goals.
Concurrently, evaluate, negotiate, and manage the multiples of the most complex technology and telecom strategically important supplier and vendor relationships to ensure all align with our enterprise objectives.
Develop and direct processes, strategy, and/or enterprise program recommendations.
Account for governance and control programs to ensure business continuity, protect company assets, and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies.
Proactively maintain current understanding of various industry and supply chain management best practices in the technology and telecom sector, and their commodity/spend category benchmarks.
