We are seeking a highly skilled Ab Initio ETL Developer with strong MHUB (Metadata Hub) experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing complex ETL workflows in Ab Initio, along with expertise in metadata management, data lineage, and data integration processes within large enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities-
Design, develop, and implement Ab Initio ETL solutions to support enterprise data integration and processing needs.

Work extensively with Ab Initio MHUB for metadata management, data lineage, and governance support.

Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and application teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable ETL solutions.

Optimize ETL workflows for performance, reusability, and maintainability.

Perform data analysis, validation, and profiling to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.

Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities following enterprise SDLC and DevOps standards.

Document ETL processes, data flows, and transformation logic for operational transparency.

8+ years of hands-on experience in Ab Initio ETL development.

Proven expertise with Ab Initio MHUB (Metadata Hub) design, configuration, and integration.

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL performance tuning.

Experience in UNIX/Linux scripting, SQL, and working with large relational databases.

Exposure to data governance, data lineage, and metadata-driven architectures.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Banking or financial domain experience preferred.

Experience with Ab Initio Express>IT, Control Center, Conduct>IT, and Query>IT.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
