In this role, you will implement our software products and interface directly with our clientsin the Oil & Gas industry, to act as the primary medium between clients and our internal product development teams to identify issues, defects and improvements.

As an ApplicationEngineer you will:
- Act as a consultant, to collect, document and understand client business processes and requirements
- Configure and implement our proprietary software products
- Coordinate between teams of technical resources and business partners and maintain a detailed understanding of the technologies, systems, and processes that will be used to achieve project objectives
- Collaborate with development team to troubleshoot, and problem solve any software gaps
- Prepare UAT documents and lead the UAT with the client
- Assist the QA team with test plans to implement and deliver to clients needs.

Required education, experience & skills:
- BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science or technical equivalent, plus 5 years of working experience
- Experience in software implementation
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Willing and able to travel up to 25%, as needed
Preferred education, experience & skills:
- Previous Oil & Gas industry experience
- Previous application engineering or business analysis experience, including interaction with external clients
- Understands pipeline schematics and can translate them into pipeline models
- Data analysis experience with an emphasis on graphic based analytics
- Experience with project lifecycles
- Basic understanding or working knowledge of C#, WPF, SQL, XML
- Visio, Access, and AutoCAD experience, a plus
- Experience with new product development and release cycles in a Professional Services/Technology Solutions environment a plus, as is experience with distributed and overseas teams
