Job Description

 

TITLE: Cognos Administrator

LOCATION: REMOTE

DURATION: LONG TERM

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. 10+ years Strong experience in Installation and configuration of Cognos 11.2.X  components including Content Manager, Report Server and Gate way
  2. Strong Experience in installation and configuration of Cognos Transformer 11.2.x
    3. Setting up the scripts to automate the Cube generation process
    4. Performance tunning of Cognos Servers
    5. Strong experience in trouble shooting of Cognos process/servers.
    6. Experience in migrating the contents from Cognos 11.1.7 to Cognos 11.2.x
    7. Expereince in setting up single signon using AD LDAP
    8. Experience in configuring the Data Modules
    9. Experience in configuring the Cognos for mobile
    10.Experience with Watson Analystics is a added advantage
    11.Should have experience using SQL Server and DB2.
    12.Should have experience handling Cognos servers in RHEL (Linux) environment
    13. Should have strong experience in Shell Scripting using Unix or Linux
    14. Should have strong experience in setting up the routing rules in Cognos administration (edited)
