Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst

Estrada Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst that is PMP Certified. It is preferred the Consultant will have a Lean Six Sigma background and State of California Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) experience.

Contract Term: 12-24 months

Location: Sacramento, CA

Rate Range: depends on tax filing status W2 hourly of if filing Corp-to-Corp with an established corporation, and depends on experiences. This rate range will be $70-95 -again depends on experience and tax filing status.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of verifiable experience within the last ten (10) years managing enterprise level projects and performing project support activities.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of verifiable experience within the last ten (10) years performing business analysis including business process reengineering of a similar size Information Technology Project Management Office.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of verifiable experience within the last fifteen (15) years performing project management for enterprise level projects and/or managing a Project Management Office (PMO) for a State of California any U.S. State Department or Agency.
  • Business Analysis experience evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Performing requirements analysis. Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Performing user acceptance testing.
  • Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
  • Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.

 

PMP Certified from PMI is required

Preference certification in Lean Six Sigma

Prefers a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering related filed.

 

Preference in previous Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) from State of CA Stages 1-4
