This multi-year contract needs you to fill highly skilled mathematicians, data scientists, engineers, collection managers and analysts. As a Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist/Cryptologic Computer Scientist, you will work as a part of a technical team solving hard problems with true mission relevance on emerging technologies.

As a Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist/Cryptologic Computer Scientist, you will work as a part of a technical team solving hard problems with true mission relevance on emerging technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Use mathematical/statistical methods, new algorithms, and computational methods to design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to hard cryptologic or cryptanalytic computer science problems within scientific framework.
- Apply algorithm design techniques (i.e. heuristics, data structures) to conduct computer security functions (i.e. vulnerability identification, threat detection, attack detection, countermeasure implementation). Technical solutions may arise in the form of forensics and attack attribution, critical network protection, active systems warnings and indicators, and active penetration into target systems.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics (or related Engineering or Math degree- including Applied Math) and minimum years of relevant work experience as follows:
- AA and 10 years of experience or,
- BA/BS and 8 years of experience or,
- MA/MS and 6 years of experience or,
- PhD and 4 years of experience.
- Relevant experience must be in computer science research; simulation/model development and prototyping; software design; programming; computational science; algorithm analysis and design; reverse engineering; and/or designing/developing computer or information systems, including engineering hardware and/or software.
