Network Engineer

Designs and plans network communication systems. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conducts testing of network design. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing.

They will work collaboratively with data scientist and analysts in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to create and enhance automated analytic tools (e.g., signature, behavioral, heuristic, anomalous, unsupervised-learning, predictive, and emerging) used to discover malicious cyber activities within networks and operation systems.

Required:

• Bachelors in a technical or related field and minimum 5+ years' experience

  Desired:

• Advanced cybersecurity certification such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification

• Experience with technology, tools, and services such as Athena, Cloud Deployment Toolkit, Comprehend, Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), DataBrew, Glue, Juptyer & R-Studio, Kibana (OpenSearch), Lambda, Python, Quicksight, R, Rekognition, Redshift, Various Reliable Messaging Services, S3 & Glacier, SageMaker, TensorFlow, State Machines, Textract, and Translate service.
