Job Description

Title: Blockchain Security Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6+ months (Possible Extension-Long Term Project)

 

Job duties:

  • Perform security assessments, code review, and threat modeling of C++ and Golang internal cryptographic systems
  • Partner with software engineering teams to advise on code and architecture for secure design. Ensure that cryptographic specifications are implemented as designed.
  • Partner with internal tooling teams to ensure proper creation of systems based on
  • Identify automation opportunities in our tooling and processes, deliver a Proof of Concepts, and write detail technical requirements

Skills: What we look for in you (i.e., job requirements):

  • 4+ years of Cybersecurity experience
  • Ability to read/review client-side systems (CLI, Android, iOS)
  • Strong communication skills, ability to produce code reports and document coverage
  • Background in product/application security (or at least security experience in development role)
  • Knowledge of modern C++ best practices and anti-patterns
  • Experience (or knowledge) in Cryptographic systems. Familiarity with key management, asymmetric key creation, and secure randomness
  • Passionate about solving complex security problems

Nice to haves:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Experience working on a remote first team
  • Experience discovering and exploiting memory management vulnerabilities
  • Knowledge and experience reviewing internal tooling and server-side code
  • Previous work in a high security and/or highly regulated industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of cutting-edge Cryptographic protocols (including MPC)
