Job Description

A research and customized consulting company is looking to hire a Windows Systems Engineer to give their general infrastructure necessary technical support. You will respond to their staff's technical questions and deploy and manage various systems as required. You'll work and communicate with others to solve issues and outline solutions. You will increase your skill set while learning more about our IT environment and have ample opportunities to grow. This is not a client-facing role.

You will design and implement enterprise-level systems, including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, VMware/Windows hypervisors, firewalls, switches, Azure networks, and PowerShell scripts. You'll also configure and maintain infrastructure and cloud services, as well as documentation related to systems configurations, installation procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Some security protocol implementation and management is also required, such as firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection and prevention.

Remote Hybrid with on-site in Boca Raton, FL.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering
  • Expertise in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, VMware/Windows hypervisors, firewalls, switching, Azure networking, PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure AD, and Resource Manager
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP networking protocols and technologies such as DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and routing protocols.
  • Experience with PBX and UCaaS systems, implementation, and configuration.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Relevant industry certifications such as MCSE and CCNA.
