Job Details

Role: Senior Scrum Master

Location: Dallas, TX

On-Site (5 Days a week)

W2 ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead multiple Agile teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the successful delivery of complex, high-impact products. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Agile frameworks, strong facilitation skills, and the ability to coach teams and stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Facilitation & Delivery

  • Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement) for one or more teams

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality increments by removing blockers and promoting a culture of accountability

  • Track and communicate team progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, etc.)

Coaching & Leadership

  • Mentor Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile best practices

  • Promote self-organization, collaboration, and continuous learning

  • Coach teams on effective estimation, prioritization, and backlog management

  • Support adoption of Agile and Lean principles across the organization

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog

  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Ensure alignment with business goals, timelines, and product strategy

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify areas for process optimization and lead improvement initiatives

  • Implement tools and practices that increase efficiency and product quality

  • Foster a culture focused on transparency, feedback, and experimentation

Cross-Team Coordination

  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters, Release Managers, and Program Managers to ensure cross-team synchronization

  • Support Agile Release Train (ART) events, PI Planning, and SAFe ceremonies if applicable

  • Help manage dependencies and risks across the organization

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role

  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery practices

  • Experience leading multiple teams in a fast-paced, iterative environment

  • Proficiency with Agile tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, VersionOne, or equivalent

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), PSM II/III, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent

  • Experience with Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus)
