Job Title: Windows Systems/Support Engineer
Location: Acton, MA (Onsite, 5 days per week)
Duration: 12-month contract with potential for contract-to-hire

Position Summary: We are seeking a Windows Systems/Support Engineer to support our client's Windows 11 migration project. The ideal candidate will have experience in Windows administration, tech support across various platforms, and a solid understanding of networking. This is an onsite role in Acton, MA, requiring a commitment of 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Windows 11 migration project, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime.
  • Provide technical support for Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
  • Manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, routing protocols, load balancing, and backup/disaster recovery systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure system security and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Windows Systems/Support Engineer, particularly in Windows administration.
  • Strong background in technical support, including experience with Linux and Mac operating systems.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, routing protocols, and load balancing.
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+).
  • Experience in high-technology systems development environments.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and methodologies.
