Location: IA-West Des Moines, 100% Remote
Overview: Every consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services offers to clients. As a Release Manager, you will join the Data Strategy and Intelligence practice and service. This service provides insights into company data, advanced analytics solutions, robust data governance, and tailored solutions for specific data challenges.
Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and oversee the deployment of software releases, patches, and configuration changes
Coordinate release activities across multiple teams to ensure readiness and smooth delivery
Maintain the release calendar and communicate schedules, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders
Ensure proper testing, change control, and rollback procedures are followed
Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to automate and improve release processes
Track and report release metrics, including scope changes, deployment success rates and post-release issues
Identify and mitigate risks in the release process, ensuring compliance with internal standards
Regularly communicate release status and risks to leadership and other interested parties
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in release management, DevOps, or software delivery
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and deployment tools
Familiarity with ITIL, Safe Agile or similar change management practices
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Knowledge of FAST Application desired
The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $130,000 or the hourly equivalent.
