Cloud FinOps Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Brooklyn, NY that is looking for a detail-oriented Cloud FinOps Analyst to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with strong cloud financial management skills and a passion for optimization.

Key Tasks:
* Monitor cloud usage and identify cost optimization opportunities
* Collaborate with engineering and finance leaders to develop and execute cost-saving strategies
* Build financial models, reporting tools, and alerting systems
* Act as a liaison between engineering teams and cloud vendors

REQUIREMENTS:
* 4-7 years of experience in cloud financial operations or related roles
* Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills; Experience with data visualization tools (Looker preferred)
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS)
* Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:
* Google Cloud Platform experience
* Google Sheets for business applications
* Experience working closely with engineering teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
