Job Summary: Talent Senior ServiceNow is in search of a Senior Developer for a contract position in Columbia, SC. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Work in an Agile Scrum environment
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, etc.)
• Handle:
  • Production support
  • Action requests (enhancements and configuration changes)
• Analyze and modify:
  • Front-end (Spring MVC, JSP, jQuery)
  • Back-end (Spring Data JPA, Hibernate)
• Monitor logs and diagnose issues
• Deploy fixes using Jenkins, Git, and Splunk
• Document findings
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to maintain system stability

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Or other job-related field
• OR
• 4 years of job-related work experience
• OR
• 2 years of job-related experience with an Associate's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of:
  • Application development
  • Systems testing
  • Or other job-related IT experience
• Java
• JavaScript
• JSP
• jQuery
• Spring MVC
• Hibernate
• Spring Data JPA
• Spring Boot
• Spring Security

Preferred:

• MQ
• DevOps tools: Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
• Splunk
• AppDynamics
