The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program support contract provides knowledge-based, information assurance and cybersecurity IT services to the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO). Our services include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations & maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support and IT training.

HOW OUR ACAS TECHNICIAN WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
  • Analyzing the results of security scans ensuring that appropriate system owners apply security patches and/or make changes to the security configuration of the system as required.
  • Providing scan analysis of all assets as needed to support and validate IAVM and STIG compliance.
  • Providing status update reports detailing IAVM and STIG compliance.
  • Addressing any vulnerability findings identified as a result of DISA Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) assistance visits in the DISA Vulnerability Management System (VMS) according to severity level.
  • Developing and implementing information assurance/security standards and procedures.
  • Performing analyzing, designing, and developing security features for system architectures.
  • Builds, upgrades, and maintains ACAS environments on networked and standalone systems.
  • Uses Tenable products; SecurityCenter, Nessus, PVS, Nessus Manager, Nessus Agents while proactively performing weekly and on demand targeted (asset or IAVM) security scans on all networks using the latest approved Government security scanner to determine vulnerabilities.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):
  • Security Clearance Level: Active Secret
  • Required Experience: 3 years' experience with ACAS disciplines and protocols to include comprehensive knowledge of specific C&A tasks.
  • 3 years of recent relevant IA/CS experience.
  • Required Certifications: IAT Level II baseline certification in accordance with DoD 8140, AZ-900, and DISA ACAS training, (or achieve within six months of TOA or hiring)
  • Education: BS or BA degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or Engineering.
  • Allowable Substitution: An AA/AS Degree and 6 additional years of relevant Cyber Security experience can be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
  • Location: Hybrid - Onsite at Edwards AFB, China Lake or Point Mugu, CA & Remote.

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
