Position Overview

SAP FICO Specialist

Requirements:

We are seeking an SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) Specialist to join our finance and accounting team. The SAP FICO Specialist will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing SAP FICO solutions to ensure efficient financial processes, accurate reporting, and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting financial operations, and leveraging SAP FICO to enhance our organization's financial management.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) solutions to support financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Controlling modules.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather financial requirements and translate them into SAP FICO functionalities.
  • Perform system configurations, enhancements, and customizations to align with evolving financial needs while adhering to SAP best practices.
  • Ensure accurate financial accounting, reporting, and compliance with accounting standards through SAP FICO.
  • Develop training materials and provide end-user training to promote the effective utilization of SAP FICO functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.
  • Stay informed about industry-specific accounting standards, financial best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with SAP support teams and vendors to address technical challenges and optimize system performance.
  • Participate in SAP FICO projects and initiatives to enhance financial efficiency, reporting accuracy, and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in SAP FICO implementation, configuration, or support is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting and controlling principles.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD) is advantageous.
