Skills:
Confluent Kafka (Connect, Schema Registry, KSQL), HL7 v2/v3 and FHIR standards, Event-driven architecture design and solutioning.
Good to Have Skills:
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms, Real-time analytics and streaming pipelines.

Integration Architect with deep expertise in Kafka-based Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) solutioning and design, combined with strong knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR. This role will focus on architecting real-time, scalable, and secure integration solutions that enable interoperability across healthcare systems and analytics platforms.
Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design:

Lead the solutioning and design of Kafka-based event-driven architectures for healthcare integration.

Define event models, topic strategies, partitioning, and schema evolution policies.

Establish best practices for event sourcing, idempotency, and replayability.
Healthcare Data Integration:
-
Design pipelines for HL7 v2/v3 and FHIR resource ingestion, transformation, and publishing.

Ensure accurate mapping and validation of healthcare data formats.
Platform Expertise:

Configure and optimize Confluent Kafka components (Connect, Schema Registry, KSQL).

Implement Kafka Connectors for integration with EHR systems, databases, and cloud storage.
Security & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare security standards.

Implement TLS encryption, SASL authentication, and ACL-based authorization.
Collaboration & Leadership:

Work closely with data engineers, application teams, and clinical stakeholders.

Provide guidance on event-driven integration patterns and streaming architectures.
Technical Expertise:

Hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka (Connect, Schema Registry, KSQL).

Strong knowledge of HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, and healthcare interoperability standards.

Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred).

Experience in solutioning and designing event-driven architectures.

Proficiency in JSON, Avro, Protobuf, and schema evolution.

Expertise in event sourcing, CQRS, and microservices-based integration.
Educational Qualifications:
Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
