Job Description below: 

Responsible for managing conferencing technology (i.e. AV hardware and conferencing/collaboration software) used in Clients  conference rooms as well as by staff. Responsible for AV installations, troubleshooting, break-fix coordinating with identified vendor(s), as well as assisting staff with setting up conference rooms for meetings. Responsible for supporting managed conferencing tools – audio, video, web conference – from a setup, management, and support perspective. Must adjust product & support focus and provide guidance in alignment with business conferencing requirements.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • AV and technical end user support for all staff, including executives
  • Provide end user training on the AV systems and related technology (such as BlueJeans or Webex) as directed
  • Ensure room process/procedures are documented and communicated to all end users to ensure smooth operations of conference room and equipment
  • Report and document conference service requests and provide results for inclusion in the Monthly Metrics Reports
  • Provide high level of customer service to all customers who require conferencing technology support and desktop/workstation support
  • Setup, troubleshooting, testing, operation, and tear down of conferencing technology equipment; (e.g. Cisco video conferencing, Barco screen sharing, monitors, speakers, microphones, etc. as well as custom rooms w/ data projection systems, computers, audio- and videoconference equipment, microphones, video cameras, audio systems, and operation of integrated control systems)
  • Provide best effort assistance to fulfill any technical needs as assigned, including all Client collaboration tools (Zoom, BlueJeans, WebEx, AT&T audio conferencing, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
  • Execute and assist staff in all aspects of conferencing technology support including call set up, end user training, troubleshooting, and follow through on escalation of trouble issues
  • Provide consultation and education to all levels of end users on equipment, technology, and workstation/desktop integrations
  • Troubleshoot workstation/desktop, AV equipment and videoconferencing related technology (various projectors, control systems, audio- and videoconferencing) to complete resolution when issues occur
  • Escalate facilities and other technical issues outside of AV, conferencing technology and applications to appropriate department(s)
  • Interface with technology and installation/maintenance vendors for equipment servicing, training, etc. whether warranty or routine maintenance as directed
  • Maintain understanding of current and new conferencing technology
  • Proactively research, test, and introduce patches and software version upgrades.
  • Assist with software testing, renewals and renegotiations
  • Provide support in other areas of software mgmt. as requested

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience

Job Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of video conferencing standards and setups
  • Working knowledge of and advanced troubleshooting with Windows 7/10, Mac OSX, and Office 365
  • Working knowledge of standard workstations/desktop
  • Ability to troubleshooting of AV systems – Cisco, Barco, custom, etc.
  • Working experience with major conferencing hardware such as Cisco VCS infrastructure, Cisco SX and Spark Room video conferencing equipment, Barco screen sharing equipment, Crestron management systems, Samsung monitors, Shure and Sennheiser mics
