Job Description

Please note that this is a 1 year contract position. 

This is a testing lab to works across projects - gene therapy, protein work, In process testing
Day to Day - full time lab based onsite at Malvern PA, running experiments, input documents in database to share data analysis, work with team leads to review data for approval to sign off and some equipment maintenance
Good communication is key as they will need to work with group across the team to discuss data analysis
Some software that would be beneficial but not necessary as they can train - Soft Max 7 to read the bio assays; 7500 for PCR
If the candidate has instrumentation experience they would be familiar with the software to be able to train

Skill:  Flow, PCR, cell based assay, ELISA and FRET experience specifically for these roles.

 

Description:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related subject area, with a minimum of 2 or more years of related industry laboratory experience is required, or a Master’s degree with 1 or more years of related industry laboratory experience is required.

Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills are required. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills (written and oral) and the ability to work in a cross-functional customer-focused environment is required.

Experience with a minimum of two of the following techniques is required: ELISA, FRET, qPCR, cell culture and aseptic technique, cell-based potency assays, flow cytometry or plate-based biochemical assays (impurity, HCP).

Experience working in a cGMP environment is required. Perform experiments and data review according to SOPs and protocols.

Experience with electronic laboratory notebook is preferred.

Excellence in bioassay trouble shooting is preferred.

Ability to work with limited guidance to plan, execute, and follow through with studies is preferred.
