Job Title: Part time Identity and Access Management (IAM) Solutions Architect
Location: Remote (Must report onsite in Jackson, MS once per quarter)
Hours: 15 hours/week
Duration: One Year Contract (likely to extend)
Job Description:
IRG Clients is seeking a highly experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Solutions Architect Consultant to lead the modernization of agency's identity, access, and device management systems using Microsoft cloud technologies. This part-time role will provide architectural leadership, technical implementation, and automation design to build a secure and compliant identity platform leveraging Microsoft Entra ID, M365/O365, and Intune.
The selected consultant will guide agency's migration from on-premises Active Directory to Entra ID, design and implement Zero Trust models, and develop automation for Workday and ServiceNow integrations to streamline onboarding and access management. The role also includes advising on governance, compliance (HIPAA, MARS-E, ARC-AMPE), and supporting continued modernization of DOM's cloud services.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience designing and implementing Microsoft identity and security solutions for enterprise or public-sector clients.
- Proven success in O365 and Azure migrations, with emphasis on IAM modernization.
- Strong background in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Logic Apps, and Graph API.
- Proficiency with Kusto Query Language (KQL).
- Hands-on experience with Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and identity governance frameworks.
- Deep understanding of HIPAA, MARS-E, and ARC-AMPE compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting GCC tenants.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of working with both executive and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with state government agencies, especially Medicaid programs.
- Current Microsoft certifications in Entra, Identity Governance, Azure, M365, or Security.
