RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chesterfield, MO that is seeking a SAP Variant Configuration Consultant.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement integration between Salesforce CPQ and SAP VC to: Enable Sales users to work primarily in Salesforce; Allow Manufacturing and Customer Service to operate primarily in SAP; Avoid duplication of configuration rules across systems
* Evaluate and present integration options, including: Data synchronization between CPQ and VC; Embedding SAP VC functionality within Salesforce CPQ (e.g., SAP VC window in CPQ)
* If direct integration is not feasible, propose alternative solutions to meet business objectives
* Support the Automation wave of the project through October 2026, with potential extension to year-end
REQUIREMENTS:
* Hands-on expertise in integrating Salesforce CPQ with SAP Variant Configurator.
* Strong understanding of: CPQ rule-based configuration for accurate quoting; SAP VC rule-based configuration for BOM and routing generation
* Proven experience in Quote-to-Cash and Plan-to-Manufacture workflows
* Familiarity with middleware or integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, SAP CPI) for data exchange
* Ability to assess and recommend best-fit integration strategies (real-time, batch, API-based)
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments
* Knowledge of Salesforce architecture and customization
* Understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP integration
* Strong problem-solving and solution design capabilities
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
