Job Details
This position works as the interface and business relations manager with the assigned business areas or groups responsible for representing IT to the business and project teams. The role's primary responsibility is to be the IT point of contact for the enterprise functions of those areas and be their liaison for all IT-related matters. This job reports to the Senior Director, IT Global Business Relationships, and will manage 2-4 direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
Specific duties include but not limited to:
- Serves as a key point of contact for IT business stakeholders in assigned business areas
- Provides IT expertise and guidance for key IT initiatives
- Communicates decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff
- Represents IT in business meetings and IT decisions
- Informs and influences business in the technology selection while advocating for IT strategies around re-use, standard platforms, SaaS/PaaS and Cloud first.
- Communicates and collaborates with all IT functions to ensure alignment with business priorities.
- Partners with the business to develop the budget and plans for their IT initiatives
- Communicates to business all IT capabilities, activities and achievements
- Maintains transparency and works cohesively with the Senior Director and his/her leadership team.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information
Technology or related technical area
Master's or other advanced degree in Information Technology or MBA
Work Experience
7-10 years in an IT organization
Experience planning and implementing IT solutions
Experience interfacing with IT and business units
Skills and Requirements (Custom)
Good understanding of business and operating model
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to stay abreast of constantly evolving IT technology trends.
Ability to drive the delivery of projects on time and on budget.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building/management skills.
Ability to express technical concepts in business term
