We are looking for Devops Lead with Harness CD for our client in Chicago, IL

Job Title: Devops Lead with Harness CD

Job Location: Chicago, IL

Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

Pay Range: $50hr - $55hr

Responsibilities:

Harness Pipeline Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines using Harness CD, CI, and CV modules.
Pipeline Migration & Optimization: Lead migration initiatives from legacy tools (e.g., Team City) to Harness, improving efficiency and standardization.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform/Cloud formation and integrate with Harness for seamless application deployment.
Governance & Security: Implement secrets management, compliance, and security scanning (DevSecOps) within Harness pipelines.
Troubleshooting & Monitoring: Use Harness Continuous Verification (CV) to monitor deployments, analyze performance, and troubleshoot failures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with Harness.io: Deep knowledge of Harness CD, CI, templates, and Delegates.
Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in AWS.
Scripting & Automation: Strong Python or Bash skills.
Version Control & CI/CD: Expertise in Git, YAML, and pipeline-as-code.
Containerization: Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
Nice to have Developer Experience (IDP): Maintain the Harness Developer Portal (Internal Developer Platform) to improve self-service capabilities for developers.
