About the role:
Gartner Conferences seeks a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director of Product Management to join our team. As an Associate Director, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic direction and success of our Corporate Events technology product portfolio. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional products that meet customer needs while driving exceptional experiences. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations, to gather insights, align priorities, and foster collaboration. Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 105,600 USD - 144,900 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. - Technology Solutions and Integrations: Oversee the development and implementation of technology solutions and integrations for Corporate Events. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, manage timelines, and ensure successful execution.
- Client Insights and Innovation: Gather client insights and feedback to drive product innovation and enhance the Corporate Event experience. Continuously evaluate and refine event solutions to meet evolving client needs.
- Product Requirements and User Experience: Translate business requirements into well-defined product requirements, user stories, and acceptance test criteria. Collaborate with design teams to create exceptional user experiences that delight event attendees and drive engagement.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. Continuously evaluate and optimize vendor partnerships to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Agile Project Management: Utilize agile methodologies to manage the product development lifecycle, including backlog management, sprint planning, and release management. Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of corporate events. Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and inform product enhancements.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Provide product leadership and mentorship to a team of product owners. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
