The ideal candidate needs to be able to dig into sophisticated technical topics while balancing the strategic needs of the project and the tradeoffs involved in technology development.

Description

The CPU Engineering Project Manager will be working closely with the CPU architecture, logic design, verification, physical design, DFT and debug teams, as well as SoC, software, system and others to drive the full program lifecycle from spec definition through execution, tapeout, and support of post-silicon activities and debug. You will be embedded directly with the CPU design team and will drive the day-to-day project activities, as well as the longer-term initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the technical leads and be the main point of contact with other teams. Responsibilities: - Drive the development of CPU IP across several programs.- Developing and negotiating project schedules and deliverables.- Driving regular project meetings to focus the team on upcoming landmarks and to identify and resolve technical issues, pulling in the relevant experts and multi-functional stakeholders when necessary.- Identifying risks and dependencies, generating mitigation plans, and ensuring appropriate steps are taken to resolve.- Communicating program status and blocking issues to multi-functional teams and different levels of management, as appropriate.
