Senior Network Engineer (Cisco ACI, Nexus, R&S, Infoblox, ISE)

Work Location: Detroit, MI 48226 - Onsite

Contract duration: 6 Months

Must Have Skills:

1.Cisco Routing & Switching

2.Datacenter network Cisco ACI, Nexus, L3OUTs, EPGs

3.IPAM Infoblox

Nice to have skills :

Mentor Network operations team to troubleshoot existing networks, identifying and correcting technical issues

Integration with External systems (VMM Integration, Service Chaining)

Technical skills

Cisco Routing & Switching

Cisco Wireless

Datacenter network- Cisco ACI, Nexus, L3OUTs, EPGs -IPAM Infoblox -Network access control Cisco ISE -Integration with External systems (VMM Integration, Service Chaining)

Certifications(Preferable)

Cisco certified Network Professional (CCNP R&S or CCNP Data Center) or higher

Area of responsibilities:

Design, Architecture and implementation of Network Solutions in Data center and remote sites. Conduct periodic network audits and periodic reviews to assess policy adherence Mentor Network operations team to troubleshoot existing networks, identifying and correcting technical issues Act as single point of contact for Network operations to manage demand and capacity.

Oversee activities such as Install, configure, replace, and upgrade network hardware and software Perform network modeling, analysis, budgeting, and planning tasks Creating network diagrams and documentation.

Optimizing network performance through tuning and upgrades.

Identifying and mitigating network vulnerabilities.

Evaluating new networking hardware and software Recommending technology upgrades and improvements.

Work with vendor(s) as necessary to troubleshoot issues.
