    GCP Sr. Security Engineer

    Pay Range $70/hr. -$80/hr.

    Project Scope & Work
    • Client who has recently launched their GCP platform (baseline capabilities, few services, no apps) in additon to their mature AWS platform.
    • Overall objective is to align the GCP security to that of the AWS security, leveraging GCP native security services following CSA standards (some 3rd party security tools). This is a hub-n-spoke model and their approach to cloud is security first, and behavioral driven development and Testing.
    • Will work with the architects and Threat Modeling Team (threat model from ground up), determine threat mitigation, and use Python to implement control and guardrails, practice behavior driven development and following Gherkin to perform extensive testing. Will also utilize Terraform Enterprise OPA for preventive controls.
    • Project requires a senior GCP security engineer with strong Python coding skills and extensive automated testing experience and SDLC experience as well as advanced Terraform Enterprise coding. Start ASAP, 100% remote.
