Senior Business Analyst | Las Vegas, NV (Onsite role) | Open for Fulltime or Contract

What will you do?

• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business and define metrics to measure progress towards achieving these goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements and establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs usability and performance needs.
• Develop and execute processes for generating alerts and reports based on business KPIs.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting systems.
• Analyze data trends and provide insights to the business to support decision-making.
• Work closely with IT teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
• Mentor junior business analysts and provide guidance on best practices.
• Effective scope management.
• Proactively identifying risks and mitigating the same.
• Conducting periodic knowledge sharing session to empower everyone in the team to perform to their fullest potential.
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis.
• Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high level information into details, abstract up from low level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs

What are we looking for?  

• Banking domain knowledge is a must.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and project management methodologies.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of industry-standard data privacy and security practices.
