Epic Cogito/SQL DBA III

OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for an Epic Cogito/SQL DBA III for a full time permanent remote role in Fresno, CA.

*Successful candidates must reside in CA and be legally authorized to work in the US*

SALARY:

• $100K - $125K

OVERVIEW:

EHR Systems Administrators design and maintain the organization's clinical application architecture and assesses current and future state technologies, processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement.

We are growing our DBA-focused team by one. The team is focused on SQL Server environments but also back up the wider team that keeps the hospital's EHR platform running well. In addition, we work on innovative projects that support overall hospital operations. We are looking for someone who has a solid understanding of data technologies, but also some experience in PowerShell scripting and, possibly, some web development experience too.

REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Expert knowledge of operating systems applicable to role (e.g. Microsoft Server, RHEL/Linux).
• Expert knowledge of system administration of applications/databases applicable to role (e.g. Epic Client Systems, Epic Cogito, Citrix, Intrasystems Cache/IRIS, SQL).
• Knowledge of all phases of software analysis and programming, policies and procedures, and tools used in assigned computer programming/application environments.
• Knowledge in the use of available programming languages, databases, diagnostics and development tools.

Education:

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a Technology, Clinical or Business-related field required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree and experience requirements.

Experience:

• Five (5) years of information technology, systems administration or related experience required.
• Experience in system analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation required.
• Experience working with clinical systems preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare setting or healthcare industry preferred.
• Two (2) plus years of SQL database admin experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications (one of the following is required):

• EPICCSA - Epic Client Systems Administrator Certified or Accredited
• MCP - Microsoft Certified Professional
• CCAIS - Citrix Certified Associate
• CCPIS - Citrix Certified Professional
• IRIS - Cache/Iris Certified
• RHCSA - Red Hat Certified System Administrator
• COMPTIAL+ - Comptia Linux+ Certified
• EPICCOGITO - Epic Cogito Certified or Accredited
• SQL - SQL Certified
