Financial Analyst
Introduction
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support business planning. They will prepare financial reports, analyze performance, develop financial models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business cases and cost-saving opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support business planning.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and identify trends.
Develop financial models to support investment decisions and strategic initiatives.
Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate business cases and cost-saving opportunities.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements.
Assist with variance analysis and provide insights on deviations from the budget.
Support CFO/Finance Manager with ad-hoc reports and special projects.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
1–3+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or related role.
Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and financial modeling.
Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI).
Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
