Job Title: Salesforce Architect (Health Cloud)

Location: Mettawa, IL (Onsite Work from Office)


Job Summary:

The Salesforce Technical Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce Health Cloud solutions that align with enterprise business goals. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, solution architecture skills, and leadership to guide development teams through the full project lifecycle. The architect will play a pivotal role in defining the strategic Salesforce roadmap, ensuring adherence to best practices and enterprise architecture standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.

  • Develop architectural blueprints, data models, and technical design specifications.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable, high-performing Salesforce Health Cloud solutions.

  • Ensure architecture adheres to Salesforce best practices, scalability, and governance policies.

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout all phases design, development, testing, and deployment.

  • Conduct code reviews, ensure high-quality deliverables, and enforce development standards.

  • Mentor developers, junior architects, and configuration specialists to build internal Salesforce competency.

  • Design and develop custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and APIs.

  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Informatica, MuleSoft, or other middleware tools.

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, data anomalies, and integration challenges.

  • Implement and enforce Salesforce security, performance, and governance best practices.

  • Manage architectural risks, evaluate new technologies, and proactively recommend enhancements.

  • Maintain technical documentation and support change management processes.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and enterprise architects to ensure strategic alignment.

  • Facilitate technical discussions and architectural decision-making.

  • Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to technical and business users.


Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of overall Salesforce development and architecture experience.

  • Deep expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.

  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, Informatica, etc.).

  • Solid understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security, and governance principles.

  • Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale Salesforce implementations end-to-end.

  • Salesforce Certifications such as:

    • Integration Architecture Designer

    • Data Architecture and Management Designer

    • Application Architect or System Architect (preferred)


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud and Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical domain.

  • Knowledge of claims processing and healthcare workflows.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Understanding of security and authentication standards (TLS, SSL, OAuth).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
