Job Details
We are seeking a Salesforce developer for a contract-to-hire position who will be responsible for designing and developing custom Salesforce solutions by working closely with Senior salesforce consultant. You will customize, develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize client's Salesforce applications.
Additional responsibilities of this role will include the following:
Design and development of custom solutions on Salesforce platform
Implement solutions using various custom development options such as Visualforce, APEX and Lightening Web Components
Automating business processes using Salesforce features such as Process Builder and Flow
Be able to translate business requirements into well-designed solutions that best leverage the platform
Complete data loads and data migrations
Identify problems, develop ideas and propose solutions within differing situations requiring analytical, evaluative or constructive thinking in daily work
Prepare and present ideas and recommendations to colleagues and management
Apply creative thinking to identify possible reporting solution alternatives
Other duties assigned as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
In addition to a candidate possessing demonstrable experience in the responsibilities described above, the successful candidate will also meet the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or a related field
1-2 years of IT experience
1 years of custom development experience, preferably with Salesforce.com platform
Salesforce automation experience using Process builder and Flow is a big plus
Strong understanding of data migration processes and experience with Data loader and other data management tools
Custom development experience with Apex, Visual Force, SOQL, and Triggers
Intermediate level SQL skills- read & write their own queries
Has Platform Developer II Certification (or equivalent experience)
Skills and Abilities
As a consultant, the successful candidate must also possess the following characteristics:
Demonstrates strong analytical skills and develops solutions to problems independently and through facilitated team discussions
Ability to multi-task and organize effectively to meet client service level expectations
Self-motivated and shows initiative
Adept at successful conflict resolution
Ability to actively lead and participate in team or client meetings
Prioritizes workload, meets deadlines and manages competing priorities under pressure
Adaptable to multiple client work environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences
Works well independently and within a team
Possesses and presents a professional demeanor and appearance
