RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Network Manager in Waltham, MA.
Job Overview:
As a Lead Network Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our global network infrastructure to support software development and internal operations. Your focus will be on ensuring high availability and performance of our network systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of network engineers responsible for network engineering, maintenance, monitoring, and operations
* Manage network processes including configuration management, incident response, problem resolution, and vendor relationships
* As a Lead Network Manager, you will design and implement network improvements and best practices
* Recruit, develop, and manage Network Services team members
* Ensure adherence to network standards and facilitate ongoing operational enhancements
REQUIREMENTS:
* 8-10 years of experience in network engineering and operations, including hands-on experience with network devices, protocols, and technologies
* Minimum of 10 years in network infrastructure and data center operations within an enterprise environment
* 5+ years of experience managing technical teams in network operations
* Experience managing network projects and budgets in a dynamic environment
* Proficiency in Cisco or similar networking technologies
* Strong troubleshooting skills across complex network environments
* Effective leadership, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
* Ability to learn new networking technologies independently
* Information Security: All team members are responsible for the security and protection of company information and IT resources according to their role
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
