Linux Systems Administrator - Red Hat Specialist

Location: Downtown Denver (Hybrid: 2 days onsite, parking covered)
Type: Contract-to-Hire | Growth Opportunity

Core Technical Skills (Must-Have)

  • Red Hat Linux Administration - Strong experience with RHEL (v9 preferred, other versions acceptable).
  • Linux Application Support - Troubleshooting and maintaining Linux-based applications.
  • Containerization & Orchestration - Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
  • Security Hardening & Automated Patching - Implementing best practices for Linux security.
  • Scripting & Automation - Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary Linux expert across the IT team.
  • Manage and maintain Linux deployments (Red Hat, Ubuntu, legacy CentOS upgrades).
  • Install, configure, secure, and patch Linux servers; explore automation using Ansible and scripting.
  • Collaborate with other teams on Linux aspects of VMware, EMC, and Pure Storage.
  • Support projects like Grok Stream (data parsing on Red Hat systems).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westminster, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
