Description: About the Role We are looking for a skilled
Backend Developer to support and modernize mission-critical systems within our IT ecosystem. This role operates in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, focusing on large-scale
database systems, production support, and application transformation.
What You'll Do - Support business-driven enhancements and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Provide 24/7 production support, including incident triage, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Drive technical transformation initiatives to modernize legacy applications
- Design and develop reporting solutions and external system interfaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance
- Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation initiatives
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in backend/database development
- Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views)
- Experience working with large-scale databases (200+ TB)
- Proven ability to optimize and tune complex SQL queries for high-performance systems
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Perl scripting and Java/J2EE development
- Exposure to telecom or billing systems
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with workload automation tools (e.g., ESP or similar schedulers)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern application architectures
- Experience with AI tools such as Copilot, Generative AI, or Agentic AI
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
