This position is within Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business and Digital Transformation (EBDT) Classified IT Transformation organization. In acknowledgement of this opportunity, the Classified Transformation organization and leadership structure have been put in place, along with significant investment to drive positive changes to both transform and standardize Classified IT delivery.
The candidate will be a System Engineer for an enterprise WAN solution: DarkStar! The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Windows environments within DarkStar at one of our node locations and will be the primary interface for DarkStar. The selected candidate will closely work with the larger DarkStar system engineering and network teams to maintain, sustain and keep secure all Windows environments throughout the system. Candidate must be comfortable working in environment supporting a large number of different platforms which range from enterprise servers to small and midsize servers. Candidate will be responsible for system installations, upgrades, configurations, software installation, patching and maintenance. Knowledge of various protocols such as DNS, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet, ssh, and etc protocols and system network tuning and configuration.
*** This position works a 9x80 schedule, with every other Friday off! This is an onsite role in our Littleton, CO facility! ***
Basic Qualifications
Demonstrated experience with configuring and maintaining Windows OS environments (Physical and virtual)
Experience with Active Directory administration, including health checks and troubleshooting
Experience with Group Policy Object configuration and administration
Experience with Windows Updates and patching (WSUS). Offline WSUS experience a plus.
General understanding of IT systems
Basic network configuration and troubleshooting
Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly across organization boundaries
Self-starter with the ability to spot potential for process improvement
Capable of building effective relationships with teams and subject matter experts
Security+ certification
DoD SECRET clearance
Desired skills
Experience with McAfee and EPO/ENS
Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and/or Windows OS image building processes
Experience with script writing, PowerShell, Ansible, Python or other automation/scripting too

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
