About Our Client
This client is a major supplier for the design, manufacture and support of turbine test cell and test equipment for the aviation industry.
Job Description
The LabVIEW Software Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation of data collection software for turbine engine test equipment using LabVIEW software and National Instruments hardware. You will also:
- Act as a technical reference for the customer and the main suppliers in relation to area of expertise
- Make sure all specifications are met for each project
- Perform installation and troubleshooting remotely and at customer's facilities
- Provide internal IT and server support as needed

The Successful Applicant
The successful LabVIEW Software Design Engineer will have:
- Experience with LabVIEW
- Experience with National Instruments, Visual Basic, and C++ is beneficial
- Experience integrating instrumentation sensors and Analog/Digital I/O (temperature, pressure, speed, vibration, etc.)
- Experience in PLC integration and testing
- Experience and understanding of calibration and metrology
- Knowledge of gas turbine/aircraft engine operation is a huge bonus but not required
- Experience in system engineering and/or test environments
