A woman-owned company, voted NetApp - North America DoD Partner of the Year, is in search of a Cisco Pre-Sales Engineer, and Network Engineer/Architect (SDA, DNA-C, ISE), Both 100% remote, Both 10% Travel, CCNP minimum, CCIE Preferred, Inactive, or Active Secret Clearance. Preferred candidates will live in DC/MD/VA/NC area. However, we will consider the right candidate if living in the EST.

 

Both Compensation Range: $175-$200K+/year | Pre-Sales Engineer Base Pay = $175K/year, $225K+year OTE, uncapped bonuses, Minimum CCNP required, salary varies upon certification, experience and education.

THE PRE-SALES ENGINEER POSITION JOB DESCRIPTION

 

The Pre-Sales Engineer will act as the SME to both the Government and Contractor support engineers regarding design recommendations, configuration, and implementation of the orchestration platform. This position requires leadership capabilities, business analysis, and the ability to relate technical ideas and direction to various levels of both Engineering and Government leadership.

 

Pre-Sales Engineer - What You Will Be Doing:

 

  • You will ensure success, seamless cooperation with the R&D, Product Business Management, Customer Success Management, Technical Customer Support, and Marketing teams is essential.
  • Proactively determine current and prospective customer technology needs by fostering relationships with potential and existing clients, thereby gaining a deep understanding of their product requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with Account Executives to create and uphold account strategy plans, spotlighting newfound opportunities for expansion.
  • Establish yourself as a dependable technical consultant for our clients by:
  • Equip customers with a thorough understanding of our solutions portfolio and industry trends to propel their objectives.
  • Showcasing the technical benefits, cost-effectiveness, and operational enhancements of our solutions.
  • Collecting feedback and effectively relaying it to the corresponding internal teams.
  • Stay updated professionally and technically by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional literature, building personal networks, and engaging in professional groups.
  • Document customer interactions and escalate issues as required.
  • Organize and host discovery workshops with key strategic clients to identify workflow inefficiencies and amplify the value of our existing solutions.
  • Deliver a tailored strategy to aid decision-making within these organizations.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and conferences to promote the value of our newest solutions and technologies.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by working in unison with your Solutions Engineering peers

 

The Pre-Sales Engineer Requirements:

  • BS in IT, Computer Tech, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Broad background in Technical Sales: Federal Information Technology, Cyber Security Applications, and Hardware
  • Active & Relevant Cisco Certifications: Minimum CCNP required (CCIE level preferred).
  • Experience in technical architecture design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in a pre-sales role or working for a VAR for the DOD.
  • Minimum Non-Active or Active DOD Secret Clearance.

 

THE NETWORK ENGINEER ARCHITECT JOB DESCRIPTION

 

The Network Engineer | Architect will act as the SME to both the Government and Contractor support engineers in regard to design recommendations, configuration, and implementation of the orchestration platform. This position requires leadership capabilities and the ability to relate technical ideas and direction to various levels of both Engineering and Government leadership.

 

Network Engineer | Architect - ISE - What You Will Be Doing:

  • Provide configuration, implementation, and cutover services and support for the Cisco Software Defined Access solution (ISE).
  • Manage solution development and deployment adhering to industry best practices and adherence to Government Security Guidelines.
  • Assist with both high-level and low-level design documentation.
  • Effectively work independently and in a team environment.

 

Network Engineer | Architect - ISE - Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of focused engineering experience in networking and security technologies including SDA, ISE & DNA-C preferred.
  • Experience in technical architecture design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Cisco HX platforms.

  • Hands-on experience configuring/troubleshooting Cisco IOS-XE platforms.

All Compensation: $180,000-$225K+/year, uncapped, based on education and experience level.
