Job Details

Position Summary:

Join a team focused on improving safety, efficiency, and process reliability in a manufacturing facility. This role takes ownership of key plant processes and ensures they run safely, smoothly, and in compliance with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead safety, compliance, and process improvement efforts across the plant.
Own and manage major production processes (e.g., casting, coating, mixing, etc.).
Use Lean tools to optimize operations and reduce waste.
Maintain compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and regulations.
Support emergency response and ensure proper safety procedures are followed during startup and shutdown.
Oversee the installation and upkeep of equipment and facilities to meet safety and regulatory standards.
Manage project execution in line with internal and external compliance requirements.
Handle timely and accurate EHS reporting.
Ensure proper monitoring and testing programs for employees are in place (e.g., air sampling, hearing tests).
Drive Lean initiatives in collaboration with other departments.
Work with operators and lab teams to evaluate materials, optimize cycles, and improve formulations.
Maintain and track process settings to ensure consistency and quality.
Partner with operations leaders to improve yields, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing process or equipment development.
Preferred: Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO certification.
