Job Description

As an HCP Marketing Automation Data Architect in AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS), you'll have opportunities to contribute to the digital transformation of a leading biopharma company, helping to support solutions that impact patients and their communities for the better.

In this role you'll be responsible for:
  • Architecting HCP Marketing Automation systems and providing thought leadership to achieve the organization's vision, goals, and strategies.
  • Acting as a Marketing Automation technical domain expert with functional and business teams for technologies like AWS EMR, Snowflake, Python/PySpark, Informatica, Marketo and Knak.
  • Providing leadership as the organization works to advance data governance and data quality management on our platform.
  • Partnering with Commercial and Enterprise IT organizations for system architecture and project implementation.
  • Leading on and offshore development teams to develop solutions for different analytical and operational needs for Marketing Automation functions.
  • Providing updates to the leadership team on technical approach and architecture, project status, risks, and issues.
  • Managing project budgets.

Tools and skills you will use in this role:
  • Data Engineering technologies like AWS EMR, Glue, Python/PySpark, Snowflake and Informatica.
  • Data quality management and data catalog
  • CRM and Email/SMS Campaign Management technologies like Adobe Marketo
  • Email Authoring technologies Knak
  • Application and Data Architecture
  • SDLC processes for Data and Applications including Waterfall, Agile and DevOps

Qualifications

Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role:

Required
  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years' experience; Master's degree with 7 years' experience; PhD with 3 years'.
  • Demonstrable BI/data application architecture, design, and development experience.
  • Experience with data quality management and data governance.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau.
  • Strong SQL experience.
  • Proven track record in project delivery involving business and technical teams.
  • Experience with leading teams.
  • Proven experience identifying strategies for risk mitigation to reduce or eliminate issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams towards task completion.
  • Experience with Service Operations in a multi-sourced and multi-project environment.
  • Solid executive presence with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Solid understanding on impacting, emerging and vendor trends in the BI/DW/Analytics space.
