Description: Our client is currently seeking a Field Service Technician
On behalf of our client, The Judge Group is seeking a Field Service Technician. In this role you will be responsible for diagnosing, Dissembling, evaluating and repairing carious types of motors and pumps. Job Duties: Inspect Various types of motors and pumps for damage and evidence or electrical malfunctions
Troubleshoot, diagnose, disassemble, evaluate and repair equipment such as pumps, Motors, etc. Repair or Replace Defective parts, mechanical seals, bearings, shafts, wear rings, o-rings, gaskets and impellers.
Test reassembled electro-mechanical equipment for proper output operation Document Necessary information on works orders such as pump information, motor information, cause of failure, parts required, description or problem.
Safely use and operate shop equipment such as band saw, drill press, hydraulic press, power tools, job cranes
Operate specialized repair and testing equipment and other equipment as needed.
Observe all safety policies and procedures.
Keep worksite Clean and organized, assist other technicians with all skilled or non-skilled duties directed by service manager.
Job Qualifications: High School Education or equivalent or as deemed sufficient by management. Experience in pump repair, preferred but not required
Basic Mechanical and electrical aptitude experience
Basic Math Skills
Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
Willingness to be flexible
Good Problem-Solving Skills
Ability to work independently self motivated
Detail Oriented
