Job Details

Location & Work Arrangement

  • Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (On-site required Monday Wednesday; Remote Thursday Friday).
  • Contract: This is a Contract position.
  • Candidate Requirement: Local candidates only; must currently reside in the State of Indiana.
  • Mode of Interview: Webcam only.
  • Background Check: Required to pass a Fingerprint background check and additional security checks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit & Compliance: Participate in all phases of technology audits (planning, analysis, testing, issue development) and actively prepare for federal and state audits (e.g., IRS, SSA, OCSE, FBI).
  • Policy & Standards: Develop and maintain information security policies and standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-53) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Monitoring & Analysis: Assist with the configuration of data, application, network, and IAAM logs. Monitor systems for security problems and assist with log reporting tools.
  • Risk Management: Perform periodic audits to assure security policies are followed and effective. Recommend appropriate security safeguards for new and legacy IT systems.
  • Vulnerability Management: Apply thorough knowledge of software vulnerabilities, scanning tools, and remediation to protect automated systems and associated data.
  • Stakeholder Interface: Interface with customers to understand their security needs, implement necessary procedures, and assist in their security training.
  • Reporting: Create and submit reports relevant to security audits and develop recommendations for security enhancements.
