About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will manage and nurture a team of data scientists, data engineers, and data analysts, fostering a positive culture that promotes team satisfaction, engagement, and high performance. You will handle data processing, cleansing, and analysis to produce structured datasets, conduct statistical analyses, and drive R&D initiatives. This position involves collaborating with internal teams to produce integrated client deliverables and supporting new business initiatives.

Your Impact:

• Manage and nurture a team of data scientists, data engineers, and data analysts.
• Perform and direct data processing, cleansing, and handling of raw data to produce structured datasets.
• Conduct and direct statistical analyses, including Regression and Classification methodologies.
• Run and direct ad-hoc "what if scenarios" and simulations based on models.
• Produce and direct reporting, data visualization, and presentation building.
• Collaborate with internal teams across BI, Buying, Planning, and Digital Investment.
• Provide solutions in ambiguous situations involving clients.
• Drive R&D initiatives using algorithmic modeling and deriving new features.
• Bring critical thinking to find issues, solve problems, and improve processes.
• Convert business problems into mathematical expressions and equations.
• Take full accountability for timely project delivery with clean and organized analyses.
• Perform storytelling from data and analyses, communicating insights persuasively to stakeholders.
• Ensure satisfaction of internal stakeholders and clients.
• Support new business initiatives, expand the Advanced Analytics client portfolio, and upsell services to existing clients.

Your Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of experience in Data Analytics and/or Data Science.
• Relevant experience and/or education in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Operational Research (Master's degree preferred).
• Experience with data analysis within the Financial Services industry.
• Understanding of multivariate regressions and multiclass classifications.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel (Pivot Tables, Index Functions, Macros, Complex Functions, etc.).
• Advanced experience with Python (able to develop user-defined functions), R, C++, SPP, SAS.
• Experience with cloud computing providers (e.g., Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform, AWS).
• Experience with Tableau, Domo, or Power BI.
• Experience with unsupervised machine learning techniques and reinforcement learning techniques.
• Experience with time-series forecasting.
• Familiarity with Agent Based Modeling (ABM) and ABM tools.
• Ability to perform Analytics and clearly communicate findings both written and orally.
• Persuasive and capable of getting buy-in from multiple teams and clients.
• Able to deal with and prioritize multiple business requests with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Alteryx is a plus; ability to adapt to new software, technologies, and methodologies.
• Familiarity with the digital marketing ecosystem is a plus.
• Familiarity with activation platforms is a plus.
• Experience with Web Analytics tools (Omniture, Google Analytics, Webtrends) and Ad Servers tools (DoubleClick, MediaMind, PointRoll, Atlas) is nice to have.
• Experience with Ad Effectiveness Research and vendors such as Lucid is a plus.
