Title: UI/UX Design Engineer
Location: Hybrid Atlanta, GA (Local candidates only; onsite interview)

Summary

The UI/UX Design Engineer will design, develop, and optimize user-focused web interfaces. This role blends visual design, front-end development, and analytics to create intuitive and effective digital experiences. Candidates must demonstrate strong UI/UX design capabilities, technical front-end skills, and the ability to interpret user behavior through data.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts and content teams to translate requirements into functional, user-centered designs.
• Create responsive UI/UX designs and ensure technical feasibility with development teams.
• Provide cross-functional alignment, contribute to requirement clarification, and mentor junior team members.
• Develop front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG), SEO compliance, and adherence to best practices.
• Implement analytics tools (GA4, Tag Manager, Hotjar, etc.) and use data to guide UX improvements.
• Conduct A/B testing and generate insights to improve engagement, conversions, performance, and user satisfaction.
• Actively participate in Agile processes and maintain transparent communication on work progress.

Requirements

• 5+ years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Experience with CMS platforms, version control, data visualization, and dashboards.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Canva, Sketch, or similar tools.
• Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (React, Vue, etc.).
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Data Studio.
• Understanding of SEO and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Experience working in Agile teams and using GitHub or similar tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
