Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex projects within a dynamic team environment. Based in San Antonio, Texas, this role requires a proactive individual with the ability to manage diverse teams and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in IT project management, vendor coordination, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project resources effectively, especially in situations where team members do not report directly.
Implement Agile Scrum methodologies to enhance project efficiency and adaptability.
Monitor project progress using tools like Atlassian Jira and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure smooth integration and execution of project deliverables.
Lead infrastructure initiatives, including IT security enhancements and system upgrades.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies during project execution.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT project management.
PMP certification is highly preferred.
Proven expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies and project management tools such as Atlassian Jira.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects involving cross-functional teams.
Experience with vendor management and IT security initiatives.
Strong organizational and communication skills to ensure project success.
Familiarity with infrastructure projects and healthcare IT is a plus.
