Our direct end-client a large American multi-national hospitality chain is seeking to hire Senior Mendix Full Stack Developer for a 6+ months contract.

Senior Mendix Full Stack Developer
Duration: 6 months plus
Location: 100% Remote | Work per Central time

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mendix Full Stack Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of applications using the Mendix low-code platform. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and lead the development and deployment of high-quality applications. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of projects and in mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and implement both front-end and back-end components of Mendix applications.
  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders, designers to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Architecture and Design: Create robust, scalable, and maintainable application architectures and designs.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and performance of applications through comprehensive testing, debugging, and code reviews.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of application design, development processes, and user manuals.
  • Integration: Customize and extend Mendix functionality using widgets, microflows, JavaScript actions and third-party services using APIs.
  • DevOps: Participate in the continuous deployment through Mendix cloud to streamline application delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Mendix features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
  • Project Management: Participate in project planning, estimation, and execution to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with the Mendix platform.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Mendix development through Studio Pro and deployment processes.
  • Strong experience in OOPS, Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Model-Driven Development, and database systems (Postgress SQL, NoSQL)
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XPath, React, Angular).
  • Knowledge of integration techniques and tools (REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).

Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum Rapid Developer Certification Mandatory
  • Mendix Advanced Developer Certification good to have.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
  • Experience with mobile application development.
