Location : Charlotte, NC / Dallas, TX (3 days Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive AutoSys Automation Engineer with 4 5 years of hands-on experience in job scheduling and automation using AutoSys. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining batch job schedules, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems, and supporting production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain AutoSys job schedules and workflows.
  • Collaborate with application teams to gather requirements and implement automation solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot job failures, performance issues, and scheduling conflicts.
  • Perform impact analysis and implement changes in production environments with minimal disruption.
  • Maintain documentation for job flows, dependencies, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during critical incidents.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, application support, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3 5 years of experience in AutoSys job scheduling and automation.
  • Strong understanding of batch processing, job dependencies, and calendar management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Perl.
  • Experience with change management and deployment processes in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and incident/problem management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, TWS) is a plus.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools.
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
