Job Description
Title: Senior Salesforce Field Services Developer
Location: Edison, NJ
Duration: Fulltime
The Salesforce Developer will perform full-cycle software development tasks in an Agile Software Development environment. The individual in this position will be responsible for, but not limited to, defining solution specifications from business requirements document, configure/build/customize Salesforce Field Services Cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support Salesforce Field Services applications in a fast paced and high energy environment.
- Configure/build new and enhanced functionality in the Salesforce.com platform.
- Customize Salesforce applications using custom objects, workflows, validations and formulas while adhering to Salesforce best practices.
- Actively participate/lead walk-throughs/demos and reviews with team (as needed)
- Coding using the Salesforce APIs
- Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture standards.
- Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues/defects
Required Skills
- 8+ years in Salesforce Ecosystem
- 2+ years of experience with Field Service Cloud
- Experience with Field Service Management Form, Feature and Functionality e.g., work orders, skills, resources, dispatch dashboard, scheduling, service appointments, territories & regions, task management, workflow management, and Service appointment scheduling optimization
- Configure and develop best in class FSL proof of concepts, working demos and solution accelerators.
- Knowledge and experience in Field Service data model and data integration between Salesforce Field Service and other systems.
- Experience working with Force.com Apex Classes, Apex triggers, Batch Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visual Force (VF Pages), Integration (REST, SOAP, Change Data Capture, Platform Events), Force.com API, SOQL, and SOSL
- Experience developing custom and out-of-the-box solutions using Salesforce Field Service functionality (Lightning Component/Lightning Web Components, as well as declarative tools such as Field Service mobile flows)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred: Salesforce Field Service Lightning Consultant certification.
